Debbie Ross-Ocariz, Esq.

Debbie Ross-Ocariz, Esq.Debbie is a Senior Attorney with the Law Offices of Aliette H. Carolan, P.A. She practices Marital law, Family law, and Same Sex law. She handles complex family law matters such as dissolution of marriage, paternity, custody disputes, guardianships, and contested parental relocation matters.

She is an active member of the Family Law section of the Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, and the Florida Family Law Inns of Court. Debbie is also fluent in Spanish.

Debbie is a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Associate (CABA) and the Florida Associate of Women Lawyers (FAWL), and is a participant in FAWL’s mentor-mentee program, which provides mentoring to local law students.

Debbie is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University- Shepard Broad Law Center and the University of Florida- College of Human Health and Performance. She has also been involved with numerous civic and charitable organizations, such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the United Way.

While attending the University of Florida, she spent over 100 hours volunteering for non-profit organizations. In law school, Debbie interned for the Domestic Violence Care Unit at the Miami-Dade Circuit Court and assisted with case management. She also served as Vice President of Lambda United, a student-run organization whose sole purpose was to advance civil rights for the LGBT community. Debbie was also a Member of the International Citator Journal staff.
